A(Maze)ing 2d game
Throughout life, we are forced to make countless decisions. Personally, I have realized that when I make decisions, the bigger the risk I take, the bigger the potential reward is. As much as I wanted to comfortably live at home, if I had chosen to do so, I would not have learned much about independence (no risk, less reward). This is represented by the easiest maze leading to 3rd place. I also could have chosen to take a small risk (coming to U of I but choosing an easy major). By choosing an easier major, it could lead me to a nice lifestyle, but I may not reach my full potential (represented by the medium leveled maze leading to the 2nd place, “that was easy,” and symbols representing math and English, which are things I am comfortable with). By taking a big risk choosing the VTD program (something that I do not have much experience with) and leaving home, I am setting myself up to learn many new things (about art, technology, and independence) and potentially get a very interesting and enjoyable job (shown by the most difficult path leading to 1st place, the virtual reality headset, etc.). This game is meant to show that putting effort into challenges and things that take time can lead to more satisfying rewards--a lesson that I always try to keep in mind when things get tough.
